
Poha is an Indian breakfast of which I am presenting a healthier version with high protein and carbs.
- 2 chopped onions
- Fried peanuts- 100 gms
- Flattened rice/Poha soaked in little water- 350 gms
- Salt- As per taste
- Turmeric powder- 4 tsp
- Chilli Powder- 4 tsp
- Coriander powder- 4 tsp
- Fennel Seeds – 2 tsp
- Cumin seeds- 2 tsp
- Olive oil- 2 tbsp
Steps
- Heat oil in a deep pan
- Add fennel and cumin seeds in heated oil
- Add green chilli and chopped onions in the oil and fry them till it is cooked
- Add green peas to the oil and cook for 2 mins
- Add all the spices with salt and cook for a while
- Add asfoetida and cover with a lid and cook for a min.
- Add poha to the mix and now mix the contents well
- Cook for 2 mins and your poha is ready
